Art High School Lanusei
This year's edition, immersed in the suggestive scenery of the Bosco Selene and in the heart of the historic city center, has water as its protagonist: a primordial element, a generating force, a symbol of transformation.
From May 29 to 31, 2025, Lanusei will transform into a real river of creativity with “Onde Creative – Festival dell’Arte”, organized by the Liceo Artistico Mario Delitala. This year's edition, immersed in the suggestive scenery of the Bosco Selene and in the heart of the historic city center, has water as its protagonist: a primordial element, a generating force, a symbol of transformation.
The exhibition opens on Thursday, May 29 inside the Liceo Artistico with the exhibition of the students' works, offering a glimpse of the creative path undertaken during the year. In the opening ceremony, alongside institutional greetings, there are alternating interventions by artists and cultural operators of note, including Leonardo Boscani, Enya Idda, Stefania Lai, Valerio Pisano, Manunta Pastorello, Fabio Collari and Maria Sciola. The dialogue between art and community takes shape from the first day, tracing a current that guides the entire festival.
On May 30, the artistic experience moves to Bosco Selene, where students, together with guest artists, create site-specific installations, performances and temporary works perfectly integrated into nature. The breath of the earth and the voice of water become the common thread of the activities, in a mix of workshops, theatrical performances, sound works and environmental reflections. The participation of local associations, including Janas di Lanusei and the actor Silvano Vargiu, underlines the deep connection between school and territory. The students of the third A and B classes of the Lanusei primary school will also be present.
On Saturday, May 31, the festival flows into the streets of the historic center of Lanusei with “Onde Urbane”, an explosion of public art that involves historic fountains, stairways, city walls and exhibition spaces. Sculptural and pictorial works, murals, live performances and workshops for visitors and families animate the village, creating a continuous dialogue between memory and contemporaneity. Among the notable events, the performative painting of Leonardo Boscani stands out, the exhibition at the Ferrai Museum with the graphic and pictorial works of the students of the Art School in dialogue with masters such as Pinuccio Sciola, Vincenzo Grosso, Gianni Manunta Pastorello with the participation of Fabio Collari.
The inauguration of the Retablo of San Tommaso for the Church of Lotzorai, the fruit of the collective talent of the art school.
