On Friday 28th, in the splendid setting of the archaeological site of S’Arcu ‘e is Forros in Villagrande Strisaili (Nu), the Sardinia Archeo Festival returns, now in its seventh edition with the title Micromondi. The protagonists of the evening will be the archaeology of Sardinia and the Mediterranean, the contaminations of the artist from Lanusei Valerio Pisano and archaeological cinema, thanks to the synergy between Archeonova, the cultural association Itzokor from Cagliari, which organizes and animates the Festival, and the cultural association Archeovisiva ETS which for years has organized in Sicily the Festival of Communication and Archaeological Cinema of Licodia Eubea (Ct). The guided tour route, this year dedicated to figurative bronzes and the metallurgical vocation of the site, will be enriched by the bronze works of Valerio Pisano who, starting from the unit of measurement of his stylistic signature, the cap of a Bic pen, has conceived a site-specific installation named “Tappinozio di Mezzaestate”: a dialogue of words, matter, forms, visions that will unite history and storytelling, past and present. As usual, after the sunset aperitif with local specialties, the evening will light up with the screening of the selected shorts: “S’Ozzastru” and “Vitrum. Il vetro dei romani”.Program. At 6 p.m., thematic guided tour of the cult complex curated by Archeonova, with narration of Tappinozio di Mezzaestate by and with Valerio Pisano. At 8 p.m., sunset aperitif under the Gennargentu with typical products: contribution 15 euros. Reservation is required in order to prepare the aperitif. It is the story of s’ozzastru, a millenary wild olive tree, silent witness to History and symbol of nature’s resilience. In 2021, a devastating fire in Sardinia destroyed 28,000 hectares of land and thousands of animals, also involving this ancient tree. A year later, however, the wild olive tree sprouted again, becoming the emblem of nature’s ability to be reborn despite the wounds inflicted by man.Film “VITRUM. IL VETRO DEI ROMANI” by Marcello Adamo (Italy 2025, 52’). In the heart of the Mediterranean, off the coast of Corsica, a Roman wreck re-emerges after two thousand years with an extraordinary cargo of raw glass and refined artifacts.
